Use Educational Ferrofluid to Visually Explain Magnetism

Ferrofluid is an amazing material that can be used to visually explain magnetism in unique, exciting ways. It can be a very effective educational tool. With this in mind, Ferrotec offers the EFH Series of Ferrofluids for educational markets.

Ferrotec ferrofluids are optimized to maximize performance in specific applications and environments, and the EFH series is no exception. These fluids feature strong magnetic properties that make it easier to visualize the magnetic patterns. Technical data about Ferrotec’s EFH series and the SDS sheet can be found here.

Ferrotec also offers the Ferrofluidic Adventure Science Kit, an assembled teaching tool that is used to visualize magnetic patterns while performing several thought provoking experiments. The science kit can be demonstrated to students at all grade levels, with adult supervision.

The kit includes a ferrofluid Display Cell, a 50cc bottle of EFH1 ferrofluid, several magnets, gloves, a plastic syringe, pipettes, aluminum tins, and an easy to follow instruction booklet with detailed experiments and practical applications of ferrofluid based technology.
